All in all, this was a wonderful weekend for Presley and Paige! I can't believe they're already 3 weeks old! On Saturday morning when Jon went to visit Presley in the NICU (I needed to sleep a little longer!), he found that she wasn't in her usually place. To our surprise, she was moved to the step-down unit! I probably would have freaked out if I showed up to visit her and she was gone! I figured we would have at least gotten a phone call to let us know she moved. The nurses had moved her during the night and even moved Paige to a different spot in the step-down unit so they could be side by side again! She was still on her IV nutrition but they were able to stop that today. She is just on IV fluids now for a couple days until she can get all her fluids from feedings. Her feedings have been going very well. They increased them the last two days. She's now getting 19mL every 3 hours. And the most exciting accomplishment about Presley... She now weighs 3lb. 3 oz.! No more 2lb babies! She weighs exactly how much Paige did when she was born. When she got here she weighed 2lb. 2 oz., so she's gained over an entire pound...pretty good for a girl who couldn't eat for 10 days! Their Dr. thinks Presley will really take off and probably pass Paige in weight and eat from a bottle better than her. She said the "runts" (which is what she calls Presley) usually pick up and take off pretty quick and usually end up passing the other twin!
Sleepy sisters...

Paige's reaction to Presley being her neighbor again...
Paige had a big achievement as well. She took 2 entire bottles in one day for her daddy! She's still having trouble keeping her oxygen levels up occasionally (and even had her heart rate get a little low a couple of times), but that's normal for premature babies their age. Today she hardly required any oxygen and was actually setting off alarms because her oxygen level was too high. She's been gaining weight as well. Tonight she weighed 3lb. 10 oz! We're really hoping that we will have two 5lb. babies by the time we go home. If not, we have to get new carseats since the ones we have aren't made for babies under 5lb.!
Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit
And for a picture without hats on.....
It looks like Presley has my hair and Paige has Jon's. Paige's looks like it has red in it too, but she definitely has more hair than Presley right now so it looks darker. Aren't they just adorable?!?
Thanks to everyone for your continued prayers for us. We couldn't be more grateful for friends like you! We just can't wait until we can finally bring them home!...and hopefully together! It would be really difficult if one came home before the other, but we'd figure it out!
Amber and Jon - Congratulations!!! I just happened to stumble upon your blog as I was on the computer this evening. We had no clue that the babies were here. They are absolutely precious and it sounds like they are doing well. What a huge blessing. We will be continually praying for them and for your stay in Ft. Worth. (Jon- George said to tell you hi and that he misses you :)
