A Day at the Spa...

Today was a big day for Paige. She graduated from the NICU and is now in the progressive unit. Simply stated, the doctors feel that she's doing well enough not to require such a high acuity of care. From here on out she just has to eat and grow. We (Paige, Dad and I), celebrated the occasion with a relaxing evening at the spa honoring our little miss Paige. After a massaging shampoo and bath, she got to get all dressed up in real clothes for the first time.

And don't worry about Presley... she got special treatment too. She got to wear a bow that was truly bigger than her head.

It was exciting that Paige was doing well enough to get moved out, but it also makes it a lot harder on us. We now have to divide our time in between the two babies on two different units. This past week I could just put a chair in between them and spend time with both of them. Now, I have to go back and forth.

Presley might finally get to eat again tomorrow if her Xray looks good. Once she has been eating well and tolerating her feedings for about 3-4 days, she could possibly be moved out of NICU too!
