First Christmas and New Year's!

We had a wonderful Christmas with the girls this year! I can only imagine it will be even more fun next year! Jon's family came to stay with us Friday night and left on Christmas Eve. We had such a great time and it even snowed on Christmas Eve!...but quickly melted away a couple of hours later. Here's some pictures from our Christmas with the Ponder's.

Jon's mom cuddling babies

Presley was really interested in her new toys!

Paige was more interested in the paper...

Since my sister had a baby a week before Christmas, my parents were down visiting them. We were sad we couldn't make the trip down to Temple to visit baby Brooks, but hopefully they will come here soon. My parents came over Christmas Eve evening and we went out to dinner. We've only left the house a couple of times that weren't doctor's appointments. I had already cooked turkey, dressing and all the sides for lunch so I wasn't about to cook dinner again. We ended up going to Red Lobster...and let me tell you, it was like no one there had ever seen twins before! People from other tables were coming over to look, waitresses, everybody! And no one understands the questions you get from people unless you have twins yourself. People just don't think sometimes. Every asks "Are they twins?" "Are they identical?" "Are they both girls?"... seriously, my girls don't leave the house without a bow on and you think they're a boy?!?! One waitress asked, "How old are they?" I told her 6 months.. She proceeded to ask, "So is this their first Christmas?" Wow..... I'm seriously contemplating purchasing this shirt to wear when we start going out in public more..

After dinner we came back to our house to open some presents. If you know my mom, then you know she MAKES us open a present on Christmas Eve that's always Christmas pajamas. She then MAKES us take pictures in front of the tree. She's done this since we were born and even Jon and my brother-in-law have to participate...despite Jon getting made fun of a lot at work...haha. Well now that there's 3 new grandbabies this year, we're all off the hook and it's all about the babies!

Getting ready to open presents!

Presley's face in this pic is priceless!

Jon and I were both on call the entire weekend of New Year's so we didn't have any big plans. We just stayed home and loved on babies! On New Year's Eve we both worked all day so we were exhausted. We were in bed by 10! I did manage to get a pic of the girls in their onesies Aunt Callie made them..
