It's hard to believe that the girls are already 4 months old! If you go by weeks, they're about 19 weeks old or 9 1/2 weeks corrected age. We had our 4 month check up this week and it really took a toll on both of them. They got 4 shots and poor babies were miserable for two whole days. They also got their hemoglobin checked by a heel stick to make sure they weren't anemic. Their blood work came back perfect so we can finally stop the iron! It smells so nasty I can only imagine what it tastes like when I give it to them. One of the shots they got was the RSV vaccine that will hopefully lessen the severity of RSV if either of them were to get it. They'll get the vaccine every month until the spring.

Here's their stats at 4 months:
Weight: 9lb. 4 oz.
Length: 22.75 inches
Head Circumference: 15.25
She is on the growth chart for length and head circumference... only at around the 2nd-3rd percentile. As for weight, she doesn't even fall on the growth chart yet.
She's in size 1 diapers now and starting to grow out of newborn clothes and into 0-3 months.
She's our mellow baby most of the time. Occasionally she'll have her drama queen moments, but overall, she's pretty content just laying down alone.
She will occasionally roll over, but I'm still not sure if it's purposeful.
She loves to be talked to and she loves talking back.
She still hates tummy time, but it's getting better.
Presley
Weight: 8lb. 6 oz.
Length: 21.25 inches. (She looks so much longer than Paige but I guess it's just an illusion)
Head Circumference: 14.75.
Presley isn't on the growth chart for any of her stats. If she continues to eat as much as she does, she'll be bigger than Paige by our next check-up! Her lowest weight was 2lb. 2 oz. the day we arrived at Cook's so she has almost quadrupled her birthweight!!
She's still in newborn diapers, but getting close to size 1.
She still fits in newborn clothes mostly, except for sleepers. Her legs are too long for newborn sleepers!
She has really come out of her shell the last couple weeks and will coo and smile all the time.
She absolutely loves being on her tummy! I'm so amazed at how strong she is for being so tiny!

I'm so amazed how far the girls have come in the last 4 months! We are so blessed!
We tried rice cereal the other night just to see how they'd do. Presley is a bottomless pit and almost impossible to fill her tummy up. She loved it! She started to get a little frustrated after a while. She wasn't getting very much because a lot ran out of her mouth (partly my fault since I made it so thin. I didn't want them to choke). Paige on the other hand, didn't want any part of it!
