Bye Bye, Oxygen!

Paige was finally released from the Pulmonologist at Cook's! We weaned her off the oxygen a couple weeks ago and just checked her oxygen levels a couple times a day. I was so afraid that when we got to his office her oxygen sats wouldn't be good, but they were 99-100%. I can't wait until the medical supply company comes to pick up all the equipment!

This week was my first week back at work! It seemed like it came too fast! Work was the only "normal" thing in my life since the girls were born and I was ready to go back. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend at home with them, but I missed my job. We have a wonderful nanny that comes to our house early in the morning and watches the girls when we go to work. We really like her and the girls do too!

Last weekend, we had a photographer come to our house and take some pictures of the girls. It was a lot of work!! I never thought it would be so hard to get 2 babies to sleep and not cry at the same time! We also made our house like a sauna to keep them warm and comfortable so the heat didn't help. Here's some of the proofs... I hope to get the rest soon!

This was one of the first pics we took so they were still sleepy and cooperative

This was the very end of the photo shoot... Paige was done sleeping!

Jon holding the girls...again, Paige was done napping.

Presley is finally out of preemie clothes so they're both in newborns. Their most recent weights are Paige: 6lb. 10 oz. and Presley 5lb. 5.5oz! Since Paige was breech she has to have xrays of her hips in 2 weeks to make sure they're ok. We're not sure yet if we can do that in Abilene or if we'll have to make another trip to Cook's. Other than that, their next checkup is in November where they'll get their 4 month shots as well as the RSV vaccine. We're hoping we'll get the ok to leave the house a little bit!
