The Ponder's Place: Home Sweet Home!

.......No...the babies aren't home just yet... but I finally left them and went home yesterday for the first time in 9 weeks! I can't even begin to describe how good it felt to sleep in MY bed and shower in MY shower! To my surprise, my house was spotless and even smelled good! I was afraid I was going to come home to a bachelor pad! Jon has been telling me about some "changes" he made to the house like getting rid of my favorite couch and putting a pool table in our dining room.... I was very glad to see that he was just kidding!

There were a lot of things I needed to get done before we all come home for good. Thankfully, we started on our nursery very early. It was already painted and we had our furniture and bedding. We didn't have anything as far as decorations go, so I've done a lot of online shopping lately trying to get it all done. I have to brag on Jon too... He did a great job and has worked really hard on the nursery. He spends all his free time here with us on the weekends and still managed to get everything hung up and assembled. We got everything washed, folded, organized and put away. I'm such a neat freak that it's been driving me crazy about how much of a disaster the nursery was. I feel so much better knowing it's pretty much finished and ready for the girls to come home!
