This past weekend we went to Possom Kingdom Lake and stayed at The Cliffs Resort with some friends from work. It wasn't exactly "ideal" lake weather, but we still had a great time. It was cloudy and cool all weekend, which was perfect golfing weather for the guys! On our way up to the lake, a huge hail storm hit. Here's a picture of a rainbow while we were getting hailed on.
We stayed in a condo on the golf course and had a gorgeous view of the course on our front and back balconies.
This was the hole our back balcony was on. Us girls spent a while sitting on the balcony waiting for the guys to make it to this hole. It was pretty entertaining watching everyone come through and try to make it over the deep valley full of trees onto the green.
Jon made it over the trees on the first time....but he just couldn't stop there and kept teeing off and lost several balls to the trees...
While the guys were golfing, we were getting pampered at the spa!
We also went sight-seeing to kill time while the guys were golfing. Here's some more pictures of the lake.
We even found deer to feed the granola bars we got from the spa....
